Is an Ox, born on 2005-02-02, who joined us on 2005-05-01.

I was abandoned at an early age and was treated very poorly by the humans. Dejected I was walking in the street by Care for Cows and was hit by some fools driving a motorcycle. . I have heard in other countries that pedestrians have the right away, but not so here. The one with the biggest vehicle, no matter how foolish and crass, has the right away. In any case, I was traumatized by being struck and with the adrenalin flowing, some internal force guided me through the Care for Cows fence and I laid down next to Tapasvini who was getting her wounds treated. I was breathing heavy and after I calmed down the cowherd men treated the several cuts I had and let me stay on here. Because of all the mistreatment I got before my arrival here, I am not very friendly towards humans.

As soon as I realized that I didn't need meat to survive or to be in good health, I began to see how forlorn it all is. If only we had a different mentality about the drama of the cowboy and the range and all the rest of it. It's a very romantic notion, an entrenched part of American culture, but I've seen, for example, pigs waiting to be slaughtered, and their hysteria and panic was something I shall never forget.
