Chandrasekara

Is an Ox, born on 2003-12-06, who joined us on 2003-12-06.

I am the second son of Sivani to be born here and the cowherd men have the great hope that Dauji and I will become the strongest team in the goshala. We are both the same color as our Mother and as energetic. Both of us are friendly and gentle but strong like anything. I have been named Chandrasekhara since I have a moon-like mark on my forehead.

To a man whose mind is free there is something even more intolerable in the sufferings of animals than in the sufferings of man. For with the latter it is at least admitted that suffering is evil and that the man who causes it is a criminal. But thousands of animals are uselessly butchered every day without a shadow of remorse.
